Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains how Heat Pump Covers Ltd ("we", "us") uses personal information in connection with heatpumpcovers.uk. We are the data controller for that information.
Information we collect
This website has no forms, accounts or online ordering. We only receive personal information when you choose to contact us by email or phone. That typically includes your name, company, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry or order.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide quotes.
- To supply, deliver and invoice for products you order.
- To keep the business records we are required to keep by law.
Our lawful bases are taking steps to enter into or perform a contract with you, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our email, website hosting, accounting and delivery providers, and with authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years. Order and accounting records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required for tax purposes.
Website hosting and fonts
Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver pages to you and keep the site secure. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads. See our cookie policy for more.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@heatpumpcovers.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
